Our History

The Company was established in 1986 in Sacramento CA where we provided a host of services and became a reputable cleaning company specializing in floor care services as well as carpet cleaning services. Our first offical client was a small company called Java City that opened in 1985, roasting Gourmet coffee beans in a small brick building in the midtown area of Sacramento.
Throughout the late 80s Java city was a place for artist, authors, poets and the like gathered together and conversing while sipping their favorite coffee. Rapidly the owners rewarded us by increasing our business with more locations. Soon word spread of the quality behind our cleaning which catapulted Monarch Maintenance (our initial name) into providing cleaning services to major West Coast & National businesses.
We relocated the company to the Midwest and opened our doors for business in Grand Rapids Michigan in the early 2000s. We continue our dedication not just to general cleaning but cleaning for health! A higher quality of commercial cleaning services contributes to a healthy environment for everyone.
